En række velbevarede hustomter fra antagelig yngre germansk jernalder samt en storgård fra tiden op mod år 1000 påkalder sig særlig interesse. Senest i yngre vikingetid løber en vej gennem feltet. Den opfattes som en forgænger for nutidens Ribe-Kolding landevej.
