Der blev med skovl udlagt en ca. 3,3m lang og 0,6m bred omtrent V-Ø orienteret søgegrøft, hvor de fleste og den største sten var oppløjet lidt nordøst for toppen. Under pløjelaget fandtes rester af et ældre muldlag/kulturlag med trækul og lidt flintafslag, men ingen spor efter højfyld eller gravanlæg. I en ca. 1,0 x 0,25m stort felt blev gravet til undergrund og her fandtes et Ø-V orienteret formodet ardspor.
To andre steder på højningen blev gravet ca. 0,3 x 0,3m store huller til undergrund og her blev iagttaget de samme forhold som i søgegrøften.
